The Serra offers panoramic routes in the middle of nature, quiet villages, medieval villages and much more. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Viverone Lake and for wine lovers, D.O.C. wines can always be tasted.

Day 1:
meeting with the guide and transfer to the hill area of the Serra, one of the longest morenic hills in Europe. Along the way some panoramic stops will be made to admire Biella and its mountains. We arrive in Magnano ad visit its Medieval Ricetto situated on the top of a hill. Short transfer to the Church of S. Secondo, one of the most beautiful examples of Romanesque architecture in Biella. Arrival in Viverone for lunch. During the afternoon time off to concentrate on lake sports activities or to visit one of the many wine cellars that are situated in the area. In the late afternoon visit to the Castle of Roppolo and its Regional Wine Centre named “Enoteca della Serra”. Dinner and overnight stay in Viverone.

Day 2:
transfer in Vergogno and visit to the ethnographic museum dedicated to gold. Then excursion on foot to the Bessa park to admire the open air goldmines dating from the time of the Roman Empire. Lunch at the restaurant in the area. In the afternoon return to Biella and visit to the town.
