Day 1: meeting with the group and the local guide in Biella. A visit to the historic centre near Via Italia, the Baptistry, the Cathedral, the Medieval village of Biella Piazzo which can be reached by an old and scenic funicular railway of ‘800. Afterwards a visit will be paid to the La Marmora Building and then lunch.
In the afternoon a transfer to Oropa and a visit to the monumental complex of the Sanctuary: the ex-voto Gallery, the Ancient Library, the Royal Pavillon. Back to Biella, dinner and accomodation.
Day 2: a visit to the Museum of S. Sebastiano and a transfer to the Cervo river to admire the old factories of ‘800 that made Biella famous all over the world. A visit to “Cittadellarte” where you can admire masterpieces of contemporary art, at the “Fondazione Pistoletto”. Lunch and in the afternoon possibility to make further visits or shopping in the city centre or in the main outlet stores.
